Steampunk Gun Chronicles. Part 2: Frustration, Replacement, and Base Complete

To make this gun look as Victorian as possible, I searched for a bronze-colored spray paint. When I had one in my hands, it...wasn't so great once used. It smudged the candle holder thing in a messy, black coating. I tried painting over it, but it was beyond use.

So I do NOT recommend the "Fast Drying Oil-Rubbed Metallic Bronze" spray paint from Home Depot.
It was not bronze at all. It was deep black. And it took literally a half a day to dry somewhat. Don't buy it.

This was a game-changer. Now I had to rip off the candle holder (which was very, very difficult due to a firm connection with the hair dryer via superglue) and replace it with the longer candle holder. I did not paint this one, and left it in a dull shade of brass. Then I attached the small pot to the back.

I ended yesterday by gluing an old bracelet of mine to the small space between the dryer and the small pot.

More soon!
